Made in Modica, Sicily, in the Ragusa region, according to an ancestral recipe inherited from the Aztecs.

In contrast to classic chocolate, this chocolate has a grainy texture and an intense chocolate taste. Made from cocoa beans and cane sugar, the paste is worked cold (40°max), so that the small sugar crystals remain in the spread and melt in the mouth.
