CARAMELIZED PORK KABOBS WITH KETCHUP & FRESH CORIANDRE

Ingredients :

For 4 peoples

  •  1½ pounds (about 800 g) boneless pork shoulder
  • trimmed of excess fat
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce,
  • 1 tablespoon O&CO lavender honey
  • 2 tablespoons O&CO basic olive oil
  • 1 small bunch fresh
  • 6 tablespoons O&CO ketchup
  • salt and freshly ground pepper

Description :

Rinse and coarsely chop the cilantro. Cut the pork shoulder into large pieces and thread onto 12 short skewers. Season with salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large sauté pan. Add the skewers and sear the meat until brown on all sides. Add the honey and soy sauce, lower the heat and cook for 20 minutes, basting constantly with the cooking juices to caramelize the meat. Remove from the pan and place on a plate. While the meat is still hot, coat with the ketchup and a generous sprinkling of chopped coriander. Serve with olive oil mashed potatoes or a baby spinach salad.
