TOMATO TARTARE WITH BLACK OLIVES WITH BASIL & OREGANO MELI-MELO

Ingredients :

For 4 peoples

  • 100 g (3.5 oz) O&CO Nocellara olives
  • 10 tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons O&CO salt & herbs mix for pasta and salad
  • 1 teaspoon O&CO semi-dried tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons O&CO oregano white balsamic condiment
  • 4 tablespoons O&CO basil specialty olive oil
  • O&CO oregano mini-crostini (or slices of bread bake toasted with some olive oil)

Description :

Pit olives and crush the plum. Pull the stalk off and scald the tomato during 30 minutes, peel and seed them, then dice the plum. Blend tomato dices and crushed olives together in a salad bowl. Add salt & herbs mix, oregano condiment and basil olive oil. Mix gently. Arrange in single glasses and enjoy with mini-crostini.

Note: to prepare this recipe more quickly, olives may be replaced by tapenade.
