This fresh and herbaceous French Grand Cru benefits from broad aromatic power and ' a nice length in the mouth with a peppery finish typical of AOP Provence oils with a majority of Aglandau olives.
The Gerbaud estate is a new gem unearthed in the heart of the Luberon in a magical place in Provence: Lourmarin. The quality of the land and the The exhibition of the orchards of DOMAINE DE GERBAUD makes it possible to produce an organic olive oil in AOP Provence, fruity, with a beautiful ardor and a real aromatic typicity. The Aglandau variety brings peppery notes of artichoke, the Salonenque brings notes of green almond, the Grossane brings roundness to balance this vegetable juice.

Domaine de Gerbaud, located in Lourmarin in the Luberon massif, is a family farm belonging to the Coetzee family since 2012. Made up of André, retired lawyer, Louisa, anthropologist, and their daughter Carla, artist photographer, the family is embarking on an adventure aimed at ensuring a sustainable future for the estate. They highlight varieties of Provençal olives adapted to the region, producing olive oils with a particular and unique taste. The link with Lourmarin is significant for André, whose Huguenot ancestors lived in South Africa. Louisa, from a farming family, grew up with grandparents raising cattle in the Kalahari, Cara was born in Cape Town between sea and mountains.
The estate produces organic extra virgin olive oil and grows quality grapes thanks to sustainable vineyard management. The family wishes to share the beauty of the site, the taste pleasures of their excellent olive oil, the little-known quality of Luberon wines, and the culinary delights of the region.
