A concentrate of herbaceous aromas

This remarkable PDO Haute-Provence certified organic olive oil is made exclusively from Aglandau olives. It reveals a refined olfactory bouquet with intense nuances of raw artichoke and tomato leaf.

The terroir of Les Mées gives the olives an aromatic intensity due to the altitude and the climate which is both Alpine and Mediterranean.

Hand-picked olives of the Aglandau variety and pressed immediately give this grand cru an intense herbaceous personality. This olive oil can be enjoyed both raw and cooked and goes perfectly with all mixed salads and Provencal cuisine.

Sophie and Frédéric are the 5th generation of the Pinatel family to cultivate olive trees several hundred years old in the Alpes de Haute-Provence. The installation of their own mill in the heart of the orchards since 2010 has allowed them to optimize the freshness and flavor of the olives pressed on the same day as the harvest.

The estate has 10,000 olive trees, the olive groves are located between 400 and 450 meters above sea level, which is the limit for olive growing, but they were spared by the frost of 1956, which allows us to see very old trees of remarkable size.
