About This Recipe
A dessert recipe with a touch of citrus that will warm up your winter dishes.
Ingredients

Mandarin Olive Oil
1 pack Provencal Navettes
Tender Nougat
At the market
8.9oz mascarpone
3oz caster sugar
2 eggs
2 organic oranges
2 dates, finely diced
Directions
Heat the juice of one orange with its zest and 1.5oz sugar for a few minutes. The mixture should thicken into a syrup. Leave to cool.
Separate the egg whites from the yolks and whisk the yolks with the remaining sugar. Add the syrup. Whisk in the mascarpone until smooth. Add the diced dates and mix well.
Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture with a spatula. Divide between bowls and chill for at least 2 hours.
Just before serving, grate the zest of the remaining orange and drizzle with a few drops of mandarin olive oil. Serve with navettes and pieces of Provencal nougat.
