A story of olives and family

This intense olive oil is made from the Coratina olive, a powerful and emblematic variety from Puglia. It perfectly reflects the freshness and robustness typical of this region. With its pronounced pungency and bitterness, it charms with fresh and complex aromas, offering exceptional persistence on the palate, with notes of freshly cut grass and artichoke.

Rich in polyphenols (954 mg/kg at bottling), this powerful oil reveals unique nutritional benefits. A true olive elixir, it acts like an elegant spice, ideal for enhancing all your culinary creations when used as a finishing touch.

Did you know? The legal acidity level for an extra virgin olive oil must be below 0.8%. This Oliviers&Co Grand Cru goes far beyond this standard with an exceptionally low level of 0.16%. Our quality and traceability standards guarantee a fresher, more aromatic olive oil with preserved nutritional benefits. The polyphenol level at bottling is 954 mg/kg.

Ganga Lupo is a young estate in Puglia, founded in 2017 by Luigi and Vito, with the aim of producing high-quality single-variety olive oil from the Coratina variety. To date, they have won more than 35 national and international awards, attesting to the excellent quality of their extra virgin olive oil made from the Coratina monocultivar.

The brothers grew up in their family's olive groves, inheriting the agricultural expertise of their parents and grandparents. Their 25-hectare farm in Santo Spirito is home to 6,000 olive trees, ranging in age from 50 to 500 years old! The two brothers incorporate advanced technologies such as weather sensors and an underground irrigation system for sustainable water and resource management. Aware of climate challenges, they favour environmentally friendly agricultural practices. Their approach is based on complementary skills: Luigi, an expert in agricultural sciences, and Vito, an engineer, apply innovations to improve the quality of their oil. Their vision is to educate consumers about the value of premium olive oil, the result of meticulous work that respects the land. They are committed to combining tradition and modernity for sustainable and ethical production.
