Made from a Calabrian variety that is over 3,000 years old, La Molazza is a 100% Dolce di Rossano monovarietal olive oil. Its elegant and refined fruitiness subtly blends vegetal and floral notes, enhanced with a hint of spice. On the palate, it is fruity and well balanced, carried by a smooth finish.

The origins of Dolce di Rossano olive oil are lost in the mists of time. Deeply linked to Calabria and the town of Rossano, this variety has likely been cultivated since antiquity, more precisely since ancient Greece. For the Di Minisci family, the olive tree is much more than just a crop: it embodies an identity, a way of life, and a profound respect for the land, passed down from generation to generation.

The family adventure began after the war, when the oil produced was primarily used for subsistence. Since 1946, passion and meticulous care have been passed down from father to son at the family olive mill, and the fourth generation is now dedicated to preserving this expertise. La Molazza, meaning "millstone," is the expression of this history and captures the soul of Calabria in every drop of oil.

Over the decades, the family has perfected every step of the production of this extra virgin olive oil, combining traditional methods with modern technologies. The olives are harvested as soon as they begin to change color, resulting in a light, balanced and aromatic fruit oil.
